Larry has composed more than 5\,000 tunes\, many of which have been recorded by one of his bands or by other groups. His tunes are widely played at contra dances everywhere. His compositions and recordings have been featured in four different Ken Burns television documentaries. \nLarry Unger has been a full-time musician since 1984\, and he has presented a diverse range of music at contra dances\, Scottish and English country dances\, waltz events\, dance weekends\, dance and music camps\, festivals\, coffee houses and concerts all across the United States. However\, he is just recovering from a long hospital stay for cardiac procedures. The good news is that Seth is out of the hospital and resting. Happily for everyone\, Terry Doyle has agreed to come down from eastern Tennesse and call on rather short notice. So thank you\, Terry! \n \nBuzzband is:\n\nGeorge Paul on keyboard;\nRob Zisette on fiddle/percussion; and\nEd Howe on fiddle\n\n \nTerry Doyle is back as your caller/dancer extraordinaire!\n\nTerry Doyle\, contra dance caller\n\nTerry Doyle is an accomplished caller who travels far and wide around the country to call contra dances. She is currently teaching at Western Piedmont Community College in Morgantown and is the co-director of the Appalachian Folk School in Mountain City\, TN.
