DESCRIPTION:Terry Doyle and Buzzband\nTerry Doyle returns to call contra dances to the music of Buzzband on 1-2 December 2023. \nTerry will be calling in place of Seth Tepfer who had been scheduled to call this weekend. However\, he is just recovering from a long hospital stay for cardiac procedures. The good news is that Seth is out of the hospital and resting. Happily for everyone\, Terry Doyle has agreed to come down from eastern Tennesse and call on rather short notice. So thank you\, Terry! \n \nBuzzband is:\n\nGeorge Paul on keyboard;\nRob Zisette on fiddle/percussion; and\nEd Howe on fiddle\n\n \nTerry Doyle is back as your caller/dancer extraordinaire!\n\nTerry Doyle\, contra dance caller\n\nTerry Doyle is an accomplished caller who travels far and wide around the country to call contra dances. She is currently teaching at Western Piedmont Community College in Morgantown and is the co-director of the Appalachian Folk School in Mountain City\, TN. While teaching and calling contra dances\, you’ll find Terry flat foot dancing on stage adding percussive rhythm sounds that accompany the music. \n\n\nFriday Dec 1\, 7-10 pm\nSaturday Dec 2\, 12-3 pm\nSaturday\, Dec 2\, 2023\, 6-9 pm\n\n\n\n\n\nAdmission Policy:\n\n\n\n\nCovid protocol is waived at The Dancing Fish. Dance mindfully and let’s all stay healthy together!\n\n\n\nMasks are optional.\n\n\n\nDancing Fish registration process is also suspended.
