Appalachian Folk School (Mountain City, TN) July 31 – August 7
Summer CDH is an affordable week-long contra dance camp in the mountains of eastern Tennessee with daily outings to swim, bicycle, or just see the sights. The best value for your money anywhere, with on-site lodging included along with cooking & dining facilities. And did I mention some of the region’s best callers and musicians? No wonder Summer CDH attracts younger dancers who can hardly afford to spend big bucks elsewhere! Whole families of dancers regularly attend Summer CDH.
For us Floridians especially, Summer CDH is a welcome opportunity to exchange muggy Florida in mid-summer for the fresh air of the Appalacians where we dance dance around the clock in the biggest & best contra dance pavilion anywhere. See you there!
