Kevin Shepherd calls contra dances to live music of Laura Price and Possum Trot

Contra dance caller Kevin Shepherd teams up with local favorite band Possum Trot on Sunday, November 13th, 2022 at the Seabreeze Recreation Center, The Villages, Sunday 13 November 20 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

• dance with the Shepherd Family and friends

Kevin Shepherd of the Shepherd Family Band will be calling contra dances at the Seabreeze Recreation Center, The Villages on Sunday 13 November 2022. Outsiders must register in advance with the registrar.

Whether you are an experienced contra dancer or not, this dance is for you. And friends of the Shepherd Family Band will not want to miss this event when Kevin is calling while all the rest of the Shepherds are dancing on the dance floor. You don’t want to miss this experience!

Never contra danced before? No problem! Contra dancing is for the whole family. Even non-dancers soon find their feet dancing simple and often exquisite figures across the dance floor with their partners and neighbors.

Contra dances soon turn aerobic, so dress casual and cool. Bring your own water bottle.
