Insulation work now underway at The Dancing Fish
When conditions for contra dancing finally return closer to normal, The Dancing Fish will be ready. What was once a dance barn now has—besides a 17′ overhead fan—newly-installed air conditioners and heaters.
The real work, however, has been to install thermal insulation in the walls of DF—and then to cover all that wall surface with varnished wood slats.
We think dancers will agree that The Dancing Fish is simply without peer as a rural community dance facility.
The Dancing Fish may be down—but not down for the count. Work goes on daily to make The Dancing Fish even better. Air-conditioners (upper left) and heaters are already in place. First, thermal insulation is installed. Then varnished wood slats are installed to cover the insulation. You will love the all-wood interior of The Dancing Fish.
