Our last contra dance event until Labor Day. Come out to Melrose and enjoy! Everyone goes home happy.
Caller Vicki Morrison of Tallahassee will be calling to the music of Comes When Called on Saturday 15 July 2023 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Comes When Called is:
- Kathie Aagaard on fiddle;
- Susan Marynowski on piano;
- Rich Crew on mandolin, fiddle, woodwinds; and
- Joe De Paolo on percussion.
Schedule
- 5 pm – 6 pm: The Dancing Fish opens with an hour of open waltz. No partner required.
- 6 pm – 9 pm: Contra dances with Vicki Morrison and Comes When Called
COVID policy
- Vaccination or Masks are now Optional
- Proof of Vaccination is no longer required at Dancing Fish events
- Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of flu, etc.
Admission
- All vaccination restrictions are waived.
- Children under 16 free when accomanied by an adult.
- Youth (16-25) half price. Where else can you go contra dancing for five bucks?
- Ask about plans for families, youth, monthly donations, etc.
