Contradancers Delight Holiday (Summer CDH)

28 July – 4 August at Appalacian Folk School near Mountain City, TN

Be part of the eighth annual summer version of the popular (and very affordable) Contradancers Delight Holiday at Warren & Terry Doyle’s singular, spacious, open-air dance pavilion in rural Tennessee.

The Appalachian Folk School is ready with its 130 beds, barn, classrooms, two picnic pavilions, shower house and camping areas. For meals, participants may prepare their own food on camp stoves in its picnic pavilions. It’s Summer CDH, the family-friendly, most affordable contra dance week of the calendar.

The Appalachian Folk School, 3142 Divide Road, Mountain City, TN, features dormitories and kitchen facilities for week-long dance events.

There will be four hours of dancing on Friday 7/28 and eight hours of dancing on Sat, and Sunday 7/29-30. Monday through Thursday will have 5-6 hours of dancing built around afternoon excursions and workshops. Full details at www.contradancersdelight.com
