G.O.D.S. Dance!

Our February dance will be Friday the 16th at Gainesville Health and Fitness Center‘s
main aerobics room. Note: Start time for this dance is 7:45pm!
Alice Raibourn will be calling contra dances to the live music of The McKenzies.

We will be dancing indoors at Gainesville Health & Fitness Main Center

Schedule:
- 06:45pm — Gain access to venue
- 6:45pm – 7:45 – Setup
- 7:45pm – 8:00pm – Introductory workshop
- 08:00 – 10:30pm — Contra Dance
- 10:30 – 11:00pm — Cleanup
Please bring your own non-alcoholic beverage.
Suggested Donation:
- $10 (ages 26+)
- $5 (ages 16-25)
- Dancers ages 15 & under get in FREE when accompanied by an adult.
• This is a friendly welcoming recreational activity and all are welcome.
• No partner or experience is necessary. Contra dancing is fun and we’ll teach you how.
• No special dress is required. Wear comfortable, casual attire & soft-soled non-marking shoes.
• Smoking and/or alcoholic beverages are not allowed at our dances.
- If you feel sick on dance night, then please stay home!
- Please show care for the community and we’ll see you next time.
- Thank you for your honesty and concern for others in our community.
- We strongly recommend that people be vaccinated and boosted before engaging in this close, aerobic, dance activity.
