Sunday Square Dance: Tom Greene & The Baldwins

On Sunday February 11th from 12-4 pm South Main Station and Heartwood Soundstage will be hosting, “An ACR Square Dance” to benefit the Heartwood Foundation and its mission to highlight Gainesville’s local music scene.

Caller Tom Greene will walk you through the basics of a square dance at the beginning. This event is designed to be very beginner friendly.

So, if you’ve always wanted to learn to square dance this is your chance to try it in a fun, low-stress environment. We will be hosting this event on the lawn, with picnic tables, games, and a large dance area, but we encourage you to bring a blanket or chairs. You can even come in your best square dance garb, whatever that may be!

The Heartwood bar will be open and Humble Wood Fire and Bingo Deli will both be serving up brunch/lunch, so there will be plenty of options for refreshments.

There is a suggested donation of $10, kids 12 and under are free to attend this family friendly event!
