June 2/3: Seth Tepfer & The Syncopaths
The Syncopaths are back by popular acclaim! And none other than our favorite Seth Tepfer is calling to ensure that everyone has an insanely good time on the dance floor.
The Syncopaths‘ high energy of today descends from centuries of Irish and Scottish traditional songwriting and folk music, while incorporating modern interpretations of American roots into a dance-worthy amalgam of new and old.

The Syncopaths are:
- Ryan McKasson on fiddle;
- Ashley Hoyer on mandolin;
- Jeffrey Spero on keyboard; and
- Christa Burch on bodhrån and vocal.
Sessions:
- Fridays 7:00 – 10:00 pm (open waltz 6-7 pm)
- Saturdays 12:00 – 3:00 pm
- Saturdays 6:00 – 9:00 pm (open waltz 5-6 pm)

Among Florida’s contra dance community, many of us have been looking forward to the return of The Syncopaths to perform in Florida. It now seems so long since they performed for us here!
The Syncopaths were originally supposed to be performing the weekend of Sept 30 – October 2, 2022. However, due to the pregnancy of one of their members, The Syncopaths are performing the weekend of June 2-3, 2023. You won’t believe how fanatical fans of The Syncopaths can be until you see it. And then it’s too late ’cause suddenly you are one yourself!
